Use a soft tape
Use a flexible tailor’s tape. If unavailable, wrap a non-stretch string and measure it against a ruler.
FIND YOUR SIZE
Measure first. Choose second.
A new helmet should feel evenly snug without sharp pressure points. It should not move independently when you shake your head.
Measure the widest point
Start about 2.5 cm above the eyebrows, pass above the ears and around the widest part at the back of the head.
Repeat and test fit
Measure twice. Wear the helmet for 10–15 minutes to check for sharp pressure or excessive movement.
